Ronald Reagan Just Called Us Conservatives
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
FOUNTAIN INN, SC-State Senator and Fourth Congressional District Candidate David Thomas made the following statement regarding recent comments Congressman Bob Inglis made to the Greenville News:
“I am deeply troubled by our current Congressman and his philosophy toward conservatism. He refers to not being able to identify with the ‘hard right.’ If the ‘hard right’ he refers to represents limited government then I am proud to be a part of it. If ‘hard right’ means that I don’t want to bailout Wall Street, then I am proud to be part of it. If ‘hard right’ means supporting our troops in Iraq by supporting a troop surge, then I am proud to be a part of it. If ‘hard right’ means that I vote to protect the the phrase ‘under God’ in the Pledge of Allegiance, then I am proud to be a part of it. If ‘hard right’ means that I don’t pile on by being one of seven Republicans voting to censure Joe Wilson, then I am proud to be a part of it.”
“I am proud to be a social and fiscal conservative. I believe that we can still hold true to the principles of conservatism that President Ronald Reagan espoused. Our district’s political philosophy hasn’t changed. The conservative movement hasn’t changed. Bob is the one that has changed.”

Greetings, Senator Thomas – Off the topic of discussion …. I am married to a Lutheran Pastor (The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod). I came across your name while searching for Senatorial support of our cause. I am Exec. Director of a pro-life pregnancy resource center in central MN. As you are probably aware, both our Senators, Klobuchar and Franken, are extremely liberal and are unable to support our cause. Please keep working to save our unborn children from obamacare. God bless, +Ramona Porter+

Well said David. It’s a shame how our “representatives” don’t represent us anymore. We will be in much better hands when you’re there.
